Striving to always be creative.

Whether I am throwing clay on the wheel, drawing a portrait in charcoal or making signs and sarcastic t-shirts with my Cricut, being creative has always brought me joy. My interest in design started in my first year studying Journalism when I realized I could combine my passion for art with my need for practical solutions - and my career as a graphic designer began. Since then I have continued to build upon my skills as a designer through conferences, online learning and workshops in building brands, marketing, creative thinking, leadership and emotional intelligence.

Over the last 25 years the technology and trends have changed, and my style has evolved, but my desire to create engaging design solutions is unwavering. While the industries I have worked in have changed over the years - advertising, travel, post-secondary education, agriculture - the importance of brand has always remained constant.

When I am not at my computer or art studio, I am probably swimming laps at the pool to help de-stress, or adding to my stress by trying to play a round of golf. Down-time is a must with camping trips and travelling with my husband and daughter.
